The happy holiday of Purim celebrates that the jews in ancient times escaped a genocide planned by the Persians. It is an amazing experience, especially for me, a true Norwegian. The whole holiday contains drinking (loads of) alcohol (yes, also the orthodox jews) and invested costumes. A long weekend filled with fun! Here are some of the stuff I witnessed during this event in TLV. Among them a street party outside the opera and a Zooombie march!

TLV museum of art
The architecture of the entrance tel Aviv museum of art is brilliant. It was in this building I for the first time in my life laid my eyes on a real Kandinsky painting. As his paintings is the true love of my live, I couldn't hold back my tears. An astonishing moment.

Back to the 50's
Yesterday night I went with Aljona, my Swiss friend to Bar Giora. Every sunday night they organize a Blues night. The atmosphere, the people and the music takes you back 6 decades.

Douglas Gordon mixed media
The other day I went to the opening of an exhibition in the TLV museum of art starring the Scottish artist Douglas Gordon. It was a travel through media. The way he made collages of Tv screens and canvases playing all types of creepy clips was a true source of inspiration. Mr Gordon is one of the gentlemen on the floor
